Growing up my childhood years were in spent in small New England towns in New Hampshire and on Cape Cod. My college and post-graduate years were in Boston and Charlestown. So in the summer of 2020, when my husband and I decided to move our family from Charlotte, North Carolina to Duxbury, even amidst Covid restrictions, the idea felt like a natural progression.
My husband and I met in Charlotte, where I enjoyed a rewarding 15-year career in large-scale software implementations for the financial services industry. In 2004 I switched occupations to that of ‘mom’ with the arrival of our twins, and was very fortunate to be able to stay home and raise them.
During our 25-years in Charlotte, my husband and I shared a passion for renovation projects. With our backgrounds in project management, we always selected our contractors based upon not only their skill level but also their ability to communicate clearly and effectively. That translates into the way I have lived my life. I never assume, I always ask questions, and I always follow up! I like to think that has served me well.
I joined Eldredge Property Services as a way to not only help those who entrust their homes to us, but as a way of supporting the community and this women-owned business. The idea of being once again part of a small New England town has made that commitment even stronger.
